Over the altar, the great East window, showing the Last Judgement, is by Harry Clarke, the famous Irish stained glass artist. The depiction of the souls damned in hell, in the bottom right-hand corner, is haunting.

Located on a hill this church has stunning views of the surrounding countryside, sea and mountains. Surprisingly big for a small village. So peacefull as soon as you enter, the stained glass windows were unreal. I've never seen such vibrant colours, tried to take pictures...More

Very large church which dominates the village and the surrounding countryside! There are some lovely stained glass windows and a baptismal font in bog oak. Well worth a visit.
