Very nice forest with paths and some little tracks. Some very nice large native trees growing here, and nice views out onto Lough derg. Kids (4&13) enjoyed looking for wildlife such as squirrels and birds. Lovely place to visit especially if the sun is shining

There are some beautiful walks here, of different lengths/terrains so it suits everyone. (Though I did see a little girl of about 2 telling her grandparents she had been walking 'twenty-eleven' hours - so perhaps not great for the very young! I didn't see any...More

good walks and also some easy cycling loops for smaller kids....great place for a picnic as well. not enough of these venues in Ireland!

I spent approximately 2 hours just wondering around this beautiful forest, walking the trails and sitting admiring the flora - and the children playing. There is also a wheelchair friendly trail!
