It's not often you feel different when visiting places but this is one of those. I have been here on three occasions and enjoyed each and every one of them. when you come to the cross roads there are churches both left and right.

Suffering from long years of disrepair and have never been developed to its tourism potential this. Visitors may be disappointed unless they have a keen interest . No information or interpretive facilities and only open during summer months. Its more for photographers that for anything...More

Walk around this Cathedral several times.Many historic carvings,a photographers dream.Even the surrounding courtyard is filled with amazing statues.A little eerie after dark.

See this fab church before the door crumbles! The best you'll see this side of the Shannon or any other side! Please don't touch it though cos it's just crumbling away . Love if OPW or an Taisce would cover it with glass very soon....More
