We visited here and it was undergoing renovation, so we just saw it from the outside, (although we could see in the main doors).

The church is in a lovely setting high above the river that flows through Swords. It is in need of repair and there is a sign on the boundary wall asking for donations to save the Church. It’s a pity the church is not open...More

This church is situated next to the tower. Magnificent and well-worth a visit. Both are in the center of Swords, a lovely, very walkable town.

This is a beautiful 15th C church but rather dark. But the Bell tower is to die for. A gorgeous 12-13th C tower unlike any you have seen, are at least I have seen. The church grounds are great and it is all free. also...More
