I booked the tour for experienced riders, starting in the morning for about 2,5 hours. I was lucky that there was only 1 other person on this tour and that he could actually ride a horse. Therefore we speeded up quite often. The surrounding was...More

we didn't come here to ride. We saw a wonderful show of these great volcano and multi colored horses. They are a 5-gaited breed which you will learn about during the show. Each one is explained during the riding performance. Pretty amazing. At first these...More

I'd never ridden a horse before, so when my friend suggested a horseback tour I was definitely a little dubious. Nevertheless, I agreed and I'm so glad that I did! We booked the cheapest tour (7.700 ISK), the Countryside Charm, which was 1 hour long...More

We booked the Landmannalaugar Wilderness tour a year ago. Although my husband and I were both competent riders, we decided to get fit and had a lesson weekly, as well as a couple of long treks. Our preparation was just right, little muscle pain or...More

Really wonderful tour, guide was fantastic, horses were amazing. Highly recommend the Volcano Hengill & Hot Spring Valley tour for intermediate or above riders. The scenery is so gorgeous, and the break at the hot spring was so much fun. Really lovely tour.

We loved riding with them. They offer no many tours so you can pick was works best. We had even ridden before and had a great time!

What a truly great experience. I took a two-hour ride and was so impressed with the caring, responsible guides (and the attention to the horses' well-being as much as ours). We shifted between a walk and a tölt much of the time (so thrilling to...More

I haven't personally, just a day ride (and loved it) but I know others who have done it. They recommend it if you have experience riding. You spend a lot of time on the horses, obviously, and you're exposed to more elements... More
