Excellent 3 short films about Greece, Mount Olympus, the Meteora rocks and the monasteries. The 3-D experience really brings the area alive. There is an option to watch the films in Greek or English .it is a very comfortable viewing area, like a small cinema. The owner was very helpful. Fantastic value for money at just €3. Well worth a visit!

The digital movies shown here were well-worth our time. We visited it @ 11 and had the place to ourselves. The photography was exceptional, as was the information. I even enjoyed the cartoon parts of it in the digital format. We were in and out in under an hour.

This is a good way to learn more about the region and enjoy some AC and relaxation for 45 minutes. There are four short videos in 3D and two of them are directly explaining the geology and history of the area.

It's free and probably fun for the kids. We just walked up and they started the movie for us since no one else was around. Does give you some background about the monasteries and how the area was formed but not too indepth.

A nice introduction to the area and it’s history . This 3D theatre is well set up with new theatre style cinema seats and good 3D glasses . The clips are put together in 4 ( I think) seperate linked documentary styled clips.
The graphics are a little clunky but essentially you get the gist of how the area formed and a short history .
There is aircon which makes it all bearable as the area hits super hot outside.
A cheap break for about and hour for 3-5 EU from the heat and supporting a local initiative.

Check the times for showings are on the hour, some in English others in Greek
Positive aspects : comfortable seats
Overview of area in 3D and free
Negative aspects : not air conditioned but was not too hot in August. There are several short films that together last about 40 minutes. The first few have very relaxing music with birds and small animals and describe the history of the area. It would have been easy to take a nap in the first half of the films. The information about the monasteries are at the end of the series of films. I preferred the last films about the monasteries

This attraction runs on an hourly basis. It would appeal to people of all ages including young children. It runs for around 40 minutes. There are three videos that are screened one after the other. They are all concerned with Meteora - how the rocks were formed, the flora and fauna, and how the monasteries came about.

All the videos had high quality production values (some include animations). Some of the 3D effects were worthwhile. All-in-all a good program worth seeing. Relaxing, educational and free.
