This store appeared to have some real deal antiquities and treasures within. The ambiance alone is worth visiting. If Bourgin & Burke's from Harry Potter or the shop from Stephen King's Needful Things ever came to life, I think they would be very like Mitchell's Folly. There didn't appear to be a proprietor around but it added to the ambiance.

If you are looking for lost art, books & other "aged" artifacts and have the $resources Mitchells' Folly could be worth stopping in. Be forewarned the two storied two house building is filled to the brim with "Mitchells" items from years gone by and no airconditioning or dusting exit.

This place is very cool - There are things here that you will never find anywhere else. Looks like a junk shop, until you start looking at the "junk." One of a kind.

The owner John Mitchell has incredible recollection of his vast inventory history. His rich knowledge and soft spoken manner is a delight to experience-very enjoyable afternoon spent in his three galleries.
