Beautiful woodsy setting

While it is a chapel it offered me a more natural experience of how man and nature can fit together for an enjoyable experience.

Our visit to the Thorncrown Chapel was very nice. The way the architectural design of the Glass Walled Chapel is integrated into the natural woods surrounding is outstanding. The glass wall design brings and combines the outdoor scenery with the interior. The interior wooden candle box lights with a carved out cross on the vertical wood column supports along the... More

This is a very interesting building. The grounds are so beautiful and it is very peaceful. When we walked in, it was rather awkward. It was very quiet, music was playing, and people were sitting silently. This would be a great place to stop if you were looking for a place to pray or meditate.

This wood and glass chapel sits quietly in a woodland setting. It is simple, yet striking in that simplicity. The feeling is one of calm and peace. A beautiful place to visit or have a wedding.

You must come see this for yourself. Designed by famed Arkansas architect E. Fay Jones (he studied under Frank Lloyd Wright and won the prestigious AIA Gold award), you will see his signature style here in a beautiful Ozark setting. Calm, serene and quiet, enter reverently as it is an actual chapel. Non-denominational worship services available on Sundays.

My mother-in-law was recently remarried at this beautiful chapel. It was absolutely a gorgeous wedding and experience.
