Borjomi is a small beautiful city well-known for its mineral water springs. The national park is a very interesting area with many attractions and great hiking through the high trees. Right at the entrance on the left you can find a free museum with many photos of the area, but don't waste to much time there. You can reach up there by cable car or by small buses, both very fantastic. The view fro above is very beautiful and the hiking is great too. Don't forget to get your shares of mineral water from the spring, it's free and very good for health too.

It is an okay little park with a lot of things to do. It looks more like an attraction park. It is a bit silly you have to pay entrance. The water you can get for free. The will give you a cup. Not so nice though. You love it or hate it. You can walk all the way up to some sulphur open air baths, where you have to pay again. It is nice for an evening stroll. Not worth the visit to Borjomi for. The national park next to it, is amazing though! I will not describe this, since it would be nice to keep it a secret ;).

Yes it’s here. The source of delicious Borjomi water! You’ve found it, but be aware, it’s still water 😉.
Would still not recommend you to drink the water from the source, got a pretty bad headache afterwards.

The park, and the path towards it, sits on the bottom of charming, narrow wooded valley. The main point of attraction is the Ekatarina Spring, where (if you have paid your 5 GEL entrance fee) you will get a plastic cup with the famous foul sulphur-tasting Borjomi mineral water : take a sip, and tip the rest out in the river below. Then check out the photos of the old bottling plant.
It's all very touristy and there are rides for kids all over the place. People like to stop to take selfies at the statue of Prometheus.

Borjomi, Georgia: The least favourite of our Rabati-Vardzia-Borjomi trip, this was a terrible waste of time. Once a thriving mineral thermal bath town thronged by the rich Soviet who’s who, it is a decrepit rundown resort town with a ticky tacky amusement park. It’s a shame the entrance fee charge doesn’t go towards restoring the park. We literally thought we are in a bombed-out forest in Ukraine (it’s next door). The water tastes really bad, even though it’s meant to be curative. We, amongst many tourists, retched put the free water. #eatstylishtravelstylish

Once upon a time this was where Russian aristocracy strolled and enjoyed the healthy air and restorative powers of the spring waters.
Now it's a poorly maintained amusement park that feels kind of sad... beyond the park there's a lovely and refreshing creekside trail through the forest.

Wonderful Day Trip In Borjomi! I highly recommend to stop by in the Borjomi Central Park. Georgia is extremely a wonderful and safe nation. Borjomi Central Park is family theme park and it's a place to have a taste of the best natural spring water in the world. You will not go wrong to visit this park. I recommend to spend at least 2 days in Borjomi. There are lots of things to see and do including one of the national parks in Georgia! Georgia is one of the best 118 nations i've visited by far....

Absolute tourist place. Dont go there. Theres nothing to see. Its maybe nice for kids.

Even the trails are garbage. We trekked the red and half of the blue one. On the red one is not even a good view. The adventure is to find the way in the forest, because there is long times no way. Nobody used this trail in a while. All tourists use the atvs.

Dont go there, dont waste your time. If you go, dont trail, its a trap.

I think it used to be a royal garden. The mineral spring is best and most popular part. maybe you don't like its smell but local people really love it. You can go and enjoy sound of wild river in beautiful nature.

Borjomi is definitely one of the best places to visit during the winter and during the summer. This winter it looked like a fairytale winter wonderland, with beautiful buildings in the city centre and of course, a park with many things for families and children to enjoy. Borjomi town looks like a beautiful European village tucked away in the mountains, with snow topped roofs and fur trees.

Please take note that there is cable car from the bottom of the park to the top of a hill - there is a cable car fee required and it's a short distance to the top where you can wander around another park like area. During winter it is very cold, so please remember to wear warm clothes and non-slip foot wear because of the ice on the ground which can make walking slightly risky and dangerous.

The park at the botteom section is quite enjoyable - there is a charming Lover's Bridge where you can take a photo with someone special and there are other things to do and see as well, depending on much time you spend there. There is a souvenir shop in the park and cafes where you can get a hot drink and some snacks.

Borjomi is the place of the famous 'healing waters'. Hopefully you will learn about how in the 1820s, when some of the imperial miltary based in Borjomi had 'stomach issues' , they were advised to drink the pure water from the local mineral springs. This pure water cured the stomach issues and then the water was made famous through a company which was established to bottle the water and promote sales of the water to other parts of Russia. The Borjomi bottled water today is still excellent for 'stomach issues'.

Overall, an enjoyable trip to this part of Georgia. I highly recommend it to those visiting Georgia.
