In a community that is dominated by all things Walton this was a nice departure into the early inhabitants of America. Beautifully displayed and knowledgeable staff made this a welcome visit.

I was amazed by how many artifacts they had in this one little museum. The arrowhead collection alone was very extensive. When you come to visit, make sure to do the audio tour. It's all free and very informative. The pottery collection was breathtaking. So was the collection of head dresses. Make sure to hit the gift shop on your... More

While visiting D,C, my family visited the Museum of Native American History. It is a large building with several floors. They have many exhibits with very informative pictures and displays. They have a beautiful gift shop as well as a cafeteria. The cafeteria serves authentic Native American food like deer and buffalo. I highly recommend visiting here.
