When Sam Walton opened his 5&10 on the Bentonville town square in 1950, he had no idea he'd planted the seeds for what would become the global leader in retail, saving millions of people money so they could live better. Today, that humble little dime store is the location of The Walmart Museum. A family-friendly experience in 3 parts, the Museum features a world-class exhibit gallery, Walton's 5&10, and The Spark Cafe. Monday - Thursday: 8:00 a.M. - 9:00 P.M. Friday - Saturday: 8:00a.M. - 10:00P.M. Sunday: 12:00 p.M. - 9:00 P.M.

It's more of a collection and a walking story than one might expect in a MUSEUM. If you have any interest in how a normal person can become a billionaire with basic beliefs and strong values, you will leave inspired. If you are a vendor...More

Although small, the quaintness of the town and the museum will thrill you. Very interesting story of Mr. Sam Walton. Don't miss eating at the greasy spoon next door (The Station Cafe) with it's gasoline style decor. Food is greasy but, oh so good! The...More

What a hero! He did amazing things through Walmart. I loved learning about the business philosophies, aviation, marketing approaches, corporate citizenship and personal greeters. Really inspiring. This is a must do.

You enter this museum through a little 5 and Dime shop experience of some of the toys, etc. of yesteryear. Then you can meander through the museum. As I've gotten older, I like to read the signs that tell you so much about the details...More

Hi Nancy C! We do not offer any bus shuttles. However, Bentonville does offer plenty of free parking around the square. There are a few parking lots, versus street parking, where a camper would fit.
