I drove up from Phoenix to see it; about 3 hours. It’s something you don’t have the opportunity to see very often, and if you’re a science nerd, it’s a must see. It didn’t take long to see it, but well worth the trip. It’s...More

It is a several mile detour off the main highway and may be worth a visit, if you have time, but there is only a big round hole in the ground to see, and an animated video show of how it was formed, and it...More

My kids learned a lot and enjoyed running up and down the stairs. Need more time than we had to see the discovery room and take tours, but we still had a great time!

This is a little off the beaten path (approx. 30 minute drive east of Flagstaff) but it is all highway driving. How something so small could cause that much damage is beyond belief. Make sure you read the history.

This is amazing. You should go at least once, just to see. We plan on going back and take in the petrified forest as well.

We drove from Sedona to here and boy was it worth it. What a fascinating place. We watched the video first to get an idea of what happened all that time ago and then we went out to see the real thing. Mind Blowing !...More
