Located on a section of old Route 66, the Deer Farm is 10 acres of absolute animal wonderland. Walk a path around our park to view wallabies, llamas, mini cattle, bison, peacocks, & much more. Walk with deer, feed the deer right from your hands. Chat with a parrot, Mozart is a very entertaining cockatoo, Scarlet (a lilac crowned Amazon Parrot) a bit more shy, pet a goat, kiss a camel. You will have a blast here if you are an animal lover.

Been going here for 10+ years every time we travel, but the prices keep going up and up. Love the gift shop, kids love the animals, and love the experience of feeding the deer. If you have never done this - it is unique, fun and worth at least 1 trip. Kids will always remember it.

So happy that you enjoy our farm. The farm has been in operation for over 47 years now. On the increases in the rates you mentioned, over the 10 years you have been visiting, I hope you've noticed the additions in animals, and updated shelters, etc... All of these improvements cost money, plus the cost of feed, employees, etc is... More

We've visited the The Grand Canyon Deep Farm every winter for the past few years. Such fun for all ages. Just don't wear your nice clothes the Deer like to rub their dirty muzzles all over you. We are big fans. We'll be back next year.

Fun stop! Loved the deer and other animals. Wonderful and helpful staff. Watch out as the deer are sneaky and might nip at your clothes. Overall fun and worth the 10 bucks to get in.

It's a short 20 minute drive west of Flagstaff to the Deer Farm. They are very busy in the summer, so we elected to go this fall. There are lots of different animals to see and several to pet. Buy some of the deer feed inside the gift shop when you arrive and you can feed the deer as you... More

We love animals and go out of our way to visit special places like the GCDF. We are happy to support mom & pop places too. I thought it would be a leisurely deer feeding, and did not expect a deer mugging (in a good way!), so watch for small children. The deer will surround you and some try to... More

This attraction was a lot of fun for our granddaughter .They have a lot of deer that you get to feed and a lot of other animals to look at as you walk around the complex. The funniest was Gracie the camel who will take a carrot from you while giving you a kiss. The gift shop has a lot of... More

What a fun place! You enter through a excellent gift shop are welcomed by very friendly staff and pay to enter the farm and buy cups filled with deer feed. I recommend getting the large cups as it goes quickly, but you can always do as we did and pay for some refills. You enter the farm and then you... More

Took my boys here when they were young. They were both tripping out on how close the wild life was. We had a great time.

Much like my Bedrock City review, I hate it when I have to leave a bad review for a little mom 'n pop roadside tourist trap. These guys struggle to get by and need all the help they can get. So I feel like I'm kicking a dog when I do this - but yeah, this is not a very... More

Our entry fee is $11.50, feed cups are $3.00. Sorry you were disappointed. We feed all of our animals twice a day, and yep, sometimes they rush the gate because much like children, they LOVE what the customers bring in, as corn is like candy to kids. Some folks are sad when they don't come running over, others aren't appreciative.... More
