We were there in early November and they had already gone full bore on the Christmas decorations. At night the train depot looked like a winter wonderland.

We took the train ride to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. We splurged and opted for the luxury car and it was worth it. We had our own bartender, snacks, and free champagne on the return trip.

There are other ways to travel to the Grand Canyon however we took the train. We loved it. Had me feeling part of history.

Williams Depot has a lot of old time trains. It is the starting point for the Grand Canyon Train which is a great way to go to the Grand Canyon.

The suitcases that you're taking to the canyon need to be dropped off in the Railway Hotel lobby in the morning. They'll take them all the way to your room at the canyon. Extra luggage will have to stay in your car. You... More

Can not answer 100% yes. We recall seeing some type of nylon jacket that was selling for roughly $50, but unable to say it is what you describe. The wife bought a hoodie sweat shirt versus a jacket. Sorry we can't help you... More
