The hotel and train experience was a great one. We were a high school trip with 12 seniors visiting and had taken the Amtrak train west. The students loved the train to the Grand Canyon and the hotel was very nice. The hotel even picked us up and dropped us back off to the train. The only thing that could've... More

Great time with my family and nieces and nephews. Loved the train trip and all its history going to the canyon. Relaxing ride. Highly recommended for families of all ages!

We had a fabulous experience. We had one day at the Grand Canyon without a cloud in the sky. It was cold and there was snow on the ground, but it was not crowded and everything was terrific.

Great family tradition, Highly recommend for familys of all ages. Make sure you arrive early in order to check in. Check in lines tend to be long at times. If you plan on visiting with Santa prepare to wait in a long line. Would recommend to arrive early visit Santa while the little ones are in a good mood. Gift... More

Every year we come back. With 3 kids, some grown...we still enjoy and have a great time. The Chefs in the "O"(last) car on the last ride of the season created an awesome atmosphere. We will be back next year as well.

A great experience. Upgrade to at least 1st class, it's worth it. 3 hours was enough time for a hike and drinks afterward at the lodge. Friendly, happy, professional staff on train

Being an AZ native, I have driven to, hiked, rode a donkey, and rafted through parts of the Grand Canyon. If you are looking for a very pleasurable and unique way to travel with out of state or athletically challenged visitors this a phenomenal way to get to and enjoy the Grand Canyon. The train takes you directly to the... More

A friends of mine told me that they vidited Railcanyon last year and shared with me their wonderful experience. And in that moment I had planed the same experience to my family. I told my plans to my family and they begin to shout. We prepared our trip very, very happy and when we arrived to Williams we didn't believe... More

Amazing .. loved it even with the snow. We will definitely come back and do this in the summer. I loved the history, the views, the entertainment, and the train ride up. The hotel was very comfortable, the restaurant was clean and good selection of menu items. Loved Spencer's Bar, very relaxing.

We had been to the Grand Canyon several times, but never by train and never in winter time, so we thought we'd give this a try. In short, it was an excellent experience from beginning to end. We stayed at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel, itself a very nice place, which is adjacent to the railway depot in Williams. Our... More
