This is a great hike around the Wickenburg area. We enjoyed a peaceful trail and a nice climb. The desert was beautiful and the views from the saddle in all directions were great. Recommend this hike to anyone looking for some good exercise and a fun climb.

This challenging trail affords you gorgeous views of the desert and surrounding mountains. Not an easy trail. Take plenty of water and definitely avoid hot days.

Not recommended if you can't stand the heat get out of the desert because temps tend to be over 100 degree, beautiful Cactus to see, stay hydrated because at the end you won't be... disappointed to be in the A.C., Cactus like trees saguero if you please

Beautiful views, close to Phoenix, easy to find. Easy trail for kids and families. Great SxS riding nearby and dry camping.

This was a very nice trail for the whole family. We chose a shorter hike with the family because of the weather, but went further on a different day. I recommend a walking stick. Watch out for the fuzzy cactus know as "throwing" cactus. The little balls have barbs at the end and are painful and difficult to remove.

This was the second hike my boyfriend and I took with our dogs on our trip to Arizona, and it was a lot more challenging than the first! In fact, we didn't make it all the way to the top, and after reading some of the rest of the reviews, I'm not sure we would have been able to if... More

It was a great hike. Challenging but glad we did it. Went all the way up through the saddle. Would not recommend for children or inexperienced hikers.

We hiked the Vulture Peak Trail on a rainy, overcast day in January 2016. I am so glad we did not back out due to the weather. This is one of the great hikes in the Phoenix Valley! It is plenty challenging, particularly when you summit the peak but it is worth every bit of the effort. Even when we... More
