The only reason I gave a four star review is the IMAX. The IMAX was a great experience, but the rest was just a very average gift-shop. With this venue sponsored by National Geographic I expected more.

Don't be fooled into thinking this is really a visitor center, it is just a gift shop. The Arizona information center is just across the road with very helpful staff and good information.

Since most of excursions do not go close into the Colorado river, the film featured on IMAX will somehow complement your visit. The rest is a classic tourist's shop.
