We started at the Tumacacori National Historic Site and walked 1 1/2 miles before encountering a log jam on the Santa Cruz River, so we walked back to our parking spot. It was fun to be on a small piece of a historic trail.

Great 3-mile loop hike with beautiful scenery, free range cattle, wildlife, and nice level landscape. Great for a family walk.

We walked this trail in the winter. It was an easy path. We saw some plants and some birds, including a cardinal. I believe it may be part of a mission pilgrimage trail. Dogs were allowed, which was a nice change.

This trail is super fun! Kinda easy to get lost in so bring some water and snacks. And be careful of snakes 🐍 my friend almost stepped on one. Whoopsy Dasiy!

This is a flat, tree lined trail along the Santa Cruz River that is very distinct from most other trails in the area that are through desert and usually involve elevation changes. Nice to have shade and the sounds of the water nearby. Unfortunately, there...More

I'd say ask the local tourist information site next to the Saint Ann's church in Tubac.

Hi, You can access the trail from near the Presidio Park and Museum, which is right in Tubac. It's about 3/4 of a mile or so from the Resort (which is wonderful) to the trail head that we started from). Google Anza Trail... More

I'm not really sure. I believe so just because the County is pretty animal friendly. You should check with the Santa Cruz County Animal Control Department to make sure.
