Our hotel was next to this museum, so we walked over. We went through the gift shop and into the Code Talker museum - it was no charge. The museum portion was very small but well done with an information video. We never went into...More

A beautiful museum. Informative displays, explanatory videos and exhibits and nice staff. It's a very nice place to learn about a very interesting culture.

Its a shame this museum may close, its really a beautifully done museum. The displays are terrific and I learned a great deal.

A recent reviewer noted that many of the interactive exhibits no longer function, which I consider a fair critique. At the same time, I think the museum well worth an hour's visit, primarily because it immerses you in the Navajos' worldview. The exhibits are organized...More

Not to be missed stop. Admission is charged, but it is well worth it! You will learn about the Navajo creation stories, the past and present day traditions and way of life. Also visit the WWII Navajo Code Talkers museum next door.

Even though it's only $4,50 per adult it's not worth the visit. The initial 10 minute "film" is a poorly narrated "animation" movie regarding the 4 Navajo worlds. The exhibition next is basically a collection of signs that tell a few basics on how bad...More
