The top of the volcano gives you a Great overview of lake atitlan and the cities around it. Bring food and water

Beautiful vistas in a well maintained and safe park. Most people don’t know that park entry fee include payment for a guide which is recommended to lead you up the 1300 meter ascent.

We have done the hike starting by 7am and getting byck down by 12. Quite a hike that was. Entrance fee of 100pp seems a bit overrated to me. Bad weather caused no view for us so mixed feelings.
