Easy hike and beautiful waterfalls - well worth the visit. This is a popular attraction so suggest an early morning visit if you want to avoid the constant stream of people. However, it never felt over crowded because there is so much space and a...More

The hike to the falls is fairly challenging (physically, not technically) particularly if it has been raining. The falls themselves are definitely worth the trip. The first cascade is a stunning view, the second is also beautiful and feeds a large swimming area. The water...More

We decided at the last minute to do the horse ride versus the hike. Our family does like to hike but someone that did the horse ride told us it was muddy and all of the hikers looked miserable by the time they were done...More

I read many reviews on this excursion before planning our trip and chose to book the 4x4 vehicle to take us to the waterfalls. It was the best $20 per person we spent on the trip! We booked the 9:00 am trip and we were...More

Take four inexperienced horseback riders and put them on horses for the day and you'll have a lot of laughs. My husband, me and two adult children wanted to see the falls and decided to do it on horseback. Not only are the falls beautiful,...More

The horseback ride to the waterfalls was a wonderful experience! The guide was so relaxed causing us to be relaxed, the horses amazingly calm and obedient, and the waterfalls so beautiful. The stop for breakfast and lunch was also really nice. They own a peacock...More

We were able to visit Nauyaca in 1/2 day coming from Manuel Antonio. This is a must stop if you have a few hours. This waterfall is amazing and I hear that during dry season is not as pretty as in rainy season. We had...More

I did not go in on horseback, but my understanding is that there is only one. It is located at the entrance to the area by the falls. You need to make reservations at least 1 day in advance. There is a building on the... More

It’s best to make reservations. We have done the hike and the horses both were fun, but it is quite a hike. It is family owned and they were so pleasant. The waterfall is amazing and you can swim and climb and jump off... More
