Many of the recent trip advisor reviews were very good and we decided to stop. We drove up and no one was there. We rang the bell and a guy came and took a $16 a person admission and disappeared. Not once did we see him or did he offer any information. Most of the tanks and some of the... More

When you pull up it seems rather small and not very impressive, but when you go through the building to the exhibits in the back area it is amazing. I and my son love reptiles and were amazed with the exhibits. It is clear that the owner, Quetzal Dwyer, loves reptiles. The exhibits were spacious and nicely set up. He... More

Although the facility is aged by time and weather, the animals and enclosures in this place are in fantastic shape. It's a little pricey, but we thought it was worth it. You simple do a self-guided tour through the facility that has both outdoor and semi-indoor (nothing fully enclosed or air-conditioned) dry and aquatic enclosures. It's good for families, or... We love reptiles, so this place was a must during our trip to Dominical. They have some very cool reptiles here. We had a blast checking them out! It's a hike, but worth the drive!

On the way back from Tinamastes market - decided to check out Reptilandia - really glad we did! While the overall condition of the place is a bit run-down, the animals more than make up for a little peeling paint. The variety is fantastic, they are easy to see and the descriptions are well-done. I shot a considerable number of... More

We visited last week on our family vacation in Dominical and we were very impressed with all the exhibits and species that we could see up close and personal! My 8 year old and 6 year really enjoyed it and would read about each reptile, and my 3 year old was so excited to spot each reptile in every exhibit.... More

This was such a cool experience, especially for our young children. Our kids, ages 4, 3, & 1 yo, had a fantastic time wandering around and checking out all of the reptiles! The reptiles were especially active. It was fun to watch the reptiles swim, eat, & play around. We spent approx 60-90minutes here. We were able to get our... More

We arrived at a good time and had the Parque almost completely to ourselves, although the lot was pretty full by the time we left. All of the exhibits are outside although many are covered and/or behind glass. They all have informative plaques in Spanish and English describing each animal. In order to provide the animals with a natural habit, many... More

This place was recommended in Lonely Planet guide so we decided to take a trip out. Easy to find and as we went early it looked a little deserted and not quite what we expected. That being said I'm really glad we went in. It was an easy stroll round and such an interesting place. We had one of the... More
