We hadn't planned on this but we're there so took in the tour. So glad we did , for $15 for a family of 4, it represents outstanding value , at one tenth of the cost at Hoover dam. Very informative, simply a must do if passing through Page, az.

A three in one; nice views of the Lake, Highway 89 Bridge and the massive concrete dam. 45 minute guided tour to the lower turbine stations, give you different perspectives of this engineering marvel. Nice visitor center and facilities. Not a show stopper, but if you can budget in 2 hours, well worth it. Also illuminated at night, for some... More

Very nice tour with very experienced tour guides. Learn about the building of the dam and the bridge and how it is critical for water, power and outdoor activities.

This tour was very interesting. Great view from the top of the dam. Our guide was an electric engineer and had worked at the dam since the late 60s. Interesting to learn from him. This is just a great tour!

Whilst staying in Page on a road trip of America, we were told about Lake Powell and Glen Dam, and decided to visit, it is easy to drive too, you will only need ordinary outside clothing and footwear, although carrying water would be wise during the summer. When the dam was formed Lake Powell was created behind it, this itself... More

We were travelling between Zion National Park and Monument Valley as part of a tour and stopped off to stretch our legs and admire the view... and wow what a view! If you walk along the bridge, there are gaps in the fencing to allow photos down into the Dam itself and the bridge is impressive in it's own right.... More

If you have never been to a Dam before, it's worth the trip. It also offer's spectacular views of how Lake Powell was formed by creating this Dam. We did not go down on the actual Dam because pets were not allowed. But we got to see everything else.

The tour of glen Canyon dam was better than the tour at Hoover dam. I'm a dam fanatic, so this was an absolute must see for me. I have been to Hoover dam also. I actually enjoyed glen Canyon dam more. They take you down into the dam and powerhouse. The turbines are MASSIVE. This would be a great activity... More

If you're just driving through and don't know exactly when you'll get to the dam, it is hard to plan for the tour (which you can book on-line). Unfortunately, the tours were full when we arrive, so we were limited to walking through the visitor center (which is partially closed while it is being refurbished), and across the bridge to...
