A great place to get a bite to eat, people watch and go for a hike. This is the kind of downtown you like to see in every city. Vibrant human activity, places to shop and eat and easy to access. Parking is a bit of an issue, as it is in just about every downtown area, but there are... More

Mill Avenue is directly in the heart of ASU. It's great for younger crowds and for nightlife activities.

I visited the Mills Ave District for my last night in Az. I had driven down this road before and knew I'd find a good place to have a beer. There are tons of restaurants so everyone should be able to find somewhere to eat or drink. It's definitely worth a visit!

Went here at night after a great meal and really enjoyed strolling and people watching and shopping. This is a fun area...when in Tempe you should visit.

Shopping, food, drink and an absolutely wonderful shoe store are to be had on mill street. Pita jungle is a fine choice for s meal. You can wander around the old flour mill or hike up A mountain. You can catch the trolley from here as well. Parking can be tricky.

While visiting the campus at Arizona State University we happened upon the very busy Mill Avenue. Lots of restaurants, pubs, and places to have a brew. We enjoyed our afternoon and were impressed by all the "young" people having a good time.

Mill avenue is always a lively spot! Try to avoid it during the hot summer months, although evenings are fairly tolerable even in August! Down by town lake it is much cooler, lots of pedestrians there. Excellent people watching! It is nice, to walk across the Mill Ave bridge and view the sunsets. No services at town lake but plenty...
