Nice mellow place

Not terribly exciting but nice. My kids enjoyed the walk across the bridge. Nice walking place. Mellow place.

My friend and I met for a stroll along the river on a lovely day. This is a very nice park. I am looking forward to bringing my grandchildren to go out on the water in a paddle boat soon.

This is a nice park that borders Tempe Town Lake. Lots of space to walk, run, ride your bike and soak up the atmosphere. The one clarification is, it is NOT a beach where you can actually jump in the water. It also depends on the time of day and activities that are going on in town, that will make... More

Nice area. Too bad the city has allowed the homeless to take it over. Be prepared for one to approach, claim to be a veteran, and ask for money.

Now that the temperature is below 100 degrees I had a couple of wonderful walks down to the Cultural/Theatre complex and to the McClintock Bridge at the other end. Lots of seats to have a rest and apart from the freeway across the lake, very peaceful. A great place to go and meditate/scheme.

Right next to the river, offering great views and access to the bicycle and pedestrian path. Nice benches to sit and soak up the view.

I have to eat my words. I was a Tempe resident who mocked Tempe Town Lake when they first built it. It took a few years to work out all the bugs, but now it's a nice place to go for a stroll, whether with the family or out on a date. I've been there for a few events too.... More

A cool breeze off the water welcomed us. We enjoyed watching the rented paddle boats and canoes out on the water. The nice bike /.walking path was scenic . There was even a footbridge to cross the water to the other shore. There were facilities .

A nice and quiet park to visit on weekday morning. The views were nice, the park was clean, and is close to downtown.

I was visiting from the uk while on business. My first impression was that there were a lot (and I mean a lot) of homeless people sleeping, drinking and hanging around which made me feel uncomfortable especially when aground decided to follow me until i got to a more populated area and they gave up. I'm sure it is a... More
