Was surprised to find the place in Waipawa and stopped to see it.Some interesting exhibits and history. Well explained . Enjoyed showing my friend from Australia some NZ history & heritage

This is an excellent small museum. Quite an amazing place for such a small town. It has a range of historical items and sets and is worth stopping for

For such a small town this museum is simply amazing, from a full size horse and cart to a skeleton on display. There are old phones that children can use to call each other from different areas. There are many artefacts on display. The only...More

Well worth a stop in Waipawa to visit this museum. Friendly and helpful staff were there to answer any queries. The museum has great displays and the museum committee are a credit to Waipawa.

Excellent museum, very well appointed and modern. Really enjoyed the stories of people's lives and how they came to find themselves in Dunedin.
