A quiet and overall very moving experience. Visitors staff was helpful in giving me coordinates and map location for TSGT Graff's grave. Facility is in outstanding condition, as expected, even on a very cold and grey morning I spent plenty of time here.

It's a special experience to walk into a place like this where everything is kept immaculate. The visitor house was where we started, make sure you stop in there first. Then the memorial chapel where I could have spent hours just sitting, reflecting and looking at the massive maps. Walking around the cemetery and looking at some of the names... More

Beautifully maintained Cemetary, visited on a mild rainy day added to the somber nature of the location. Caretaker informative; no "important" generals buried here, so there are sparse visitors, which was excellent. Easy to find gravesite. Memorial murals worth viewing.

If in the area, you must see this memorial cemetery; very moving experience; about a 20 minute car ride from the Liege Rail station (which is a work of art in and of itself by famous Spanish architect)

A young soldier from my wife's hometown in Texas is buried here so we've been trying to get here for quite a number of years. Finally made it and found his grave. She put a small American flag on his grave. The entrance to this cemetery is particularly moving. After leaving the parking lot and walking past the entry building... More

If you're a history geek, this cemetery is a must visit. The area is well kept and is the resting place of quite a few American heroes. Inside the monument, the fight for European freedom is documented on each wall. It is a reminder that freedom is not free.

Just helped out with a Memorial Day Ceremony today. The setting is so peaceful and very well taken care of. The staff truly care about visitor experiences. So serene with trees surrounding the area.

Namesake buried here, pilot, died in a B-17 on bombing mission over Germany, 5/22/1944 (two weeks prior to D-Day). Completion of a welcome obligation to visit. Attended site, easy guidance to gravesite.

The heartbreak of war can be seen at this location. The number of white crosses and stars for this one location exceeds 6 thousand. The site is marked by a central chapel commemorating the Battle of the Ardennes. Bells chime memorial stanzas giving one pause for reflection upon the fallen beneath their feet. As one reads the names of the... More

The Ardennes American Cemetery must be visited if you are nearby. This cemetery has the highest number of unknowns and air crews. This was a major processing facility for soldier identification so there is a cross section of dead from throughout the war. As with all other American Cemeteries in the area it is well laid out and just a... More
