I think the beach area within the park is the prettiest stretch along 30A. No stairs to navigate; it’s a straight walk on the boardwalk and onto the powdery sand. Parking is ample, the restrooms are nice, and the dunes are gorgeous. There is a...More

One half of the campground is being rebuilt. Hopefully the old underbrush will be cleared and all new sites will be made large enough for modern RV's. Red Tide came ashore on Sept. 13th and 14th. Coughing and burning eyes were the norm. It made...More

What a lovely beach in a state park. So, no, it doesn't have chair rentals. But it's beautiful and about 1/100 as crowded as the other beaches on 30A that we visited. Definitely worth a visit!

This state park brings back memories of Old Florida. Full hookups in one loop are great and sites are very large. We have 38 ft motorhome and had more than enough space. The walk to the beach was about one mile and very flat. You...More

This is a stunning place to relax and unwind, some of the beach front house owners are pushing to make it a private beach and the only public access will be the wet sand by the water, there are forms to sign to keep the...More

No, there wasn't a swimming pool. The campsites are on a fresh water pond but there are signs that say "alligators" so we didn't swim but they had trails to the sandy edge and I am sure you can swim. We visited in February... More
