Very scenic drive and a great way to see the area, not much traffic when we were there January 2021, places to stop and take pictures, and it is just a great drive!

This drive is worth the time and energy. After the initial drive, I stopped in Flagstaff to buy a better camera to capture the beauty.

This is a beautiful drive. But if it's a high holiday season, the road will back up from downtown Sedona for up to 3 miles towards Cathedral Rock -- to a near standstill. Go early morning when the morning sun is lighting up the mountains. By noon, the traffic will ruin the drive. It's a busy place.
