Even though we drove Red Rock Scenic Byway in December it was a beautiful experience. It was not busy, probably because of the time of year. It gave us time to enjoy the scenery and solitude of Oak Creek Canyon. Strongly recommend.

Worked out that we took this to get into Sedona and gives you that " I'm in Arizona" feeling. Check it out if you're able.

It is a very beautiful drive with red rocks along the way. You highly unlikely miss it since you have to drive this road to see the bell rock. When we were walking the bell rock trail, it was cloudy. In the afternoon, we passed...More

You'll have the opportunity to do as much of either as you like. Plenty of trails, but you can get a lot of places by car or tour

For sure. It's a well paved highway and very well maintained. Take the roundabouts slow through. They might be a tad tight.
