I spent hours here with a few friends, swimming, eating lunch, admiring the views. On a weekend afternoon this place was packed and parking was nonexistent. We waited over 30 minutes for a parking spot to open up. It seems like a lot of locals enjoy this spot. Dozens of families picnicking, playing radios, and enjoying the river. I would... More

Lovely place to hike around, get in or close to the water and then enjoy a picnic!! There are many places around town to pack a lunch or snack for you. Just be sure to pack it out, so others can enjoy it like you found it.😉 Beautiful most times year, but fall with the changing leaves is always lovely.... More

The Allen's Bend trail is short and leads to a lovely spot on Oak Creek with two cataracts. The trail is mostly easy (and shaded!) but it does follow a cliff edge with steep dropoffs at times. Grasshopper Point requires a fee to enter that is *not* included in your Red Rock Pass.

This is one of our most majestic trails in Sedona. Can be as easy or difficult as you need. Tables to picnic & views from atop or hike along canyon walls & oak creek.

There's a sign for grasshopper point on the side of the road, you pull in and drive down to parking lot. Then walk down to the water . There is a fee to park but I don't quite remember what it was. Bring cash!! Some great cliff jumping spots and you can float on tubes or hang out and have... More

We went to grasshopper point in the morning because it was already quiet hot. There were not many people yet. The rocky road down to the creek is hard to walk for small children and elderly people. It is exciting to jump from the rock plateau into the water. I nice place to stay, relax and enjoy nature.

Difficult rocky path to get to the river, so not for the old or infirmed. Once there, nice swimming hole and lots of kids jumping off the cliffs. Good fun for the kids.

Had a great time with the kiddos at grasshopper point. Went mid morning and had only a few others in the creek. Kids loved jumping off the red rocks and exploring the creek bed! Easy parking and a short hike to get in!

We were looking for a swimming spot in the Sedona area and this was recommended. When we arrived the lot was full (you do have to pay extra to park in the lot), so we ended up parking along the side of HWY 89A (free to park, but you do have to dodge traffic and walk down to the picnic... More

I would give this place an EXCELLENT instead of VERY GOOD if the water was a little easier to get to ( or at least a somewhat identified trailed ). The natural setting was fantastic. The kids loved the water and cliff jumping was safe. Was not crowded at all, maybe just good timing.
