Nice short hike

Got a good close view of the terrain around Sedona. Nice rocks and the trail was pretty gentle. Dusty, but what would you expect?

Nice little stroll in a cool little canyon. The little kids, seniors, etc will all do fine on this one.

Very nice fairly flat hike. We read some reviews that mentioned sunset and stargazing. They must have meant at the trailhead? The trail is fairly shaded and ends at the bottom of a canyon. Beautiful hike with the canyon walls around you but not for either sunset or stars. Although we had a good starscape back at the trailhead after... More

This hike is very easy with lots of shade along the way. It's a great hike for older people as well as children. At the end there are rocks you can climb which lead to another trail. Pretty soon there's a chance to scale the canyon walls. The view and the solitude are unparalleled.

Fay Canyon is in one of the most beautiful areas NW of West Sedona. Its hard to imagine the enormous red towering rocks until you begin driving toward the area beginning with the Dry Creek scenic drive just off of the 89A.. At the end of the Dry Creek road, you will begin to see signs for both Boynton Canyon... More

Nice easy trail to the end of maintained section, steep after that. View is spectacular if you keep going a little bit.Spotted my first Acorn Woodpecker along trail. Also saw Bridled Titmouse and other desert birds. California Sister butterflies were also seen multiple times. We picked this trail looking for something shorter that had big dividends and were happy with... More

We hiked the Fay Canyon easy trail together and it was nice to hear the birds and start our hiking adventure on an easy trail. We were met with hikers who had health issues and managed it easily. My partner took the turn off to Fay Canyon to get some photo's of the Arch and it is a difficult trail... More

This easy hike is for all ages along a well maintained path. Final vista's are superb! Trailhead parking has a bathroom.

Enjoy the walk. Didn't really break a sweat on the well beaten path. The arch is something to see and there's an arrow someone made of stones pointing to the entrance of the very narrow path. If you choose to go, it's a very steep incline- bring a stick or hiking pole to poke at the rocks to warn any... More
