This is a short, easy walking trail with a sandy bed. The real sights come when you leave the trail and climb up to the ridge at the end of the trail. if you make it to the top, the views are breath-taking. there are...More

The trail in to Fay Canyon is flat and is easy for any physical ability. Once at the canyon anyone can climb to achieve a view of the canyon and beyond. You may even see some trees twisted from Vortex energy.

This is one of our favorite hikes in Sedona. It is fairly short and can easily be combined with Doe Mountain nearby. The trail is dirt and the greenery mostly pine and shrubs. What makes it spectacular is if you scramble up the rocks at...More

This is a pretty short, easy hike until you come to the end of the maintained trail. Not much in the way of views along the way. At that point you have the option of hiking up some rocks to a good-sized ledge where there...More

What made this hike was going past the "end of maintained trail" sign and climbing up the rocks and then looking back at the amazing view. Had we not known to do this it would have just been a pretty good hike. But going past...More

Going out Dry Creek Road just a short way. This is a relatively flat hike, unless one wants to challenge the ridge at the trail's end.. Then it becomes a bit more effort to climb a couple hundred yards u the rocks. It was dry...More

We were not with children but there were several families on the short trail...it was an enjoyable hike...the canyon walls surround you....you can continue beyond the end of the groomed trail but that is where the climbing started...we stopped for photos and turned back...nice hike!
