This was our first stop to hike up to the top (easy) for the most amazing view in the morning. The view toward the north back drop of Sedona was AMAZING. But turn around to view the east rocks but would be better in the afternoon with the sun directly on them. Perfect spot for sunset but GET THERE REALLY... More

Although I didn't feel the energy of the vortex, the view was great. Only a few parking spaces. Off a 2 lane road, so be careful backing out (if you can find parking). Not my favorite hiking spot of those around Sedona; small; doesn't take a lot of time to see; no bathrooms.

Let me start off by saying wowwww! The views from here are incredible. Was definitely the most powerful vortex I experienced in Sedona. Took an amazing hike and the sunset from here is breathtaking. Once the sun goes down it is most definitely the best place to stargaze in Sedona. Not to be missed. If you can't find parking continue... More

For the sheer beauty of the view, this is a quick and easy drive. Airport Mesa is stunning at the top. There's little else to add, except that parking is $3 and there are trails to walk at the top in addition to seeing the gorgeous overview of Sedona/West Sedona.

The easiest to reach of the 4 main Vortex's is located on the road to the airport, a short climb up to a view of dramatic proportions with a 360 panoramic scene to take in. Utterly breathtaking. When we were up there, a fellow was playing the didgeridoo and flute. He asked if we wanted him to play the didgeridoo... More

2 minute drive from Sedona. Parking does cost 3 dollars so that doesn't help. You should bring you own binoculars because the ones their are not very good and cost 25 cents for like 1 minute

Getting there was easy and there was enough parking. You should get there a little before sunset to have time to pay $3.00 at the machine and then put it on your windshield. For the amount of people that were there I just think someone could organize it better - like maybe built bleachers or something so everyone could get... More

Very easy hike with a small parking lot - which was full every time I passed it. Really nice views and a simple hike.

Small hike to the Mesa then we proceeded on the Airport Loop which provided a 360 loop of Sedona. Great views of all mountains, valleys and towns. Highly recommend it - a total of about 3.6 miles. Wear hiking shoes as some areas, although flat, have loose rocks. Well worth the hike.

Such an easy trail to hike to view incredible sunrises. I went every day. Just gorgeous 360 degree view. Easy for just about anybody to hike.
