The trail was a good starter for our first day in Sedona. You hike above the town with views all around. Only downside was that you’re hearing highway noise most of the route.

I wanted to get a couple of photos of this bridge from underneath so we took 89A north out of Sedona about 2-3 miles and turned off into the parking area for Huckaby Trail. Be warned, there's not much parking here and if you get...More

And a pretty walk with easy flat trail. Liked this one a lot. Close to town if you have time issues and beautiful scenery along the way.

My brother & I went on the Huckaby Trail, starting at the trailhead off Schnebly Hill Rd. We didn't have the time to do the entire trail, but even a short portion of this trail is enjoyable!

Even if you don't hike this trail, go to the trail, go to the trail head to take some pictures. The bridge provides a beautiful background.

This was a relatively short hike, 5 miles total. At the end you can enjoy a nice lunch next to the water and enjoy the sounds and scenery. Not hard except a couple of spots that have a steep incline. Wear comfy shoes.

Hillside, creek, wilderness and views of uptown Sedona - this trail has it all. There is a half decent drop toilet at the main carpark too. Parking is limited but most people appear to park on the road when the car park is full.

This was our first hike in the area and it was fun and beautiful... I would say it was moderate in difficulty, and there were different kinds of terrain.

The Huckaby is a hike that many folks love, but it just wasn't our cup of tea. Why? In this hike you descend initially and then after hiking to the bottom, you've got to hike up...and this is not how we personally prefer to hike....More
