this is by far one of my favorite spots to go to. One way up- you are looking out over the incredible, vast Verde Valley (just gorgeous!) and as you get to the top and walk across- you get an amazing view of West Sedona! an easy hike up (about 45 min).

The trail is easy to follow and has a nice gradual accent so it's not to hard and even if you're scared of heights you shouldn't have an issue. Once at the top be mindful of your directions. It is easy to loose the correct trail since there are several trails that cross cross the top. It took about 1.5... More

More of a 'mesa' than a 'mountain'. It's about 0.6 miles from trailhead to top. The trail is on the west side of the mesa, so there is ample shade in the early morning -- great when it's hot. Once you're on the top, you can walk around the outer edge for views in all directions. Note that the top... More

My wife and I did this hike and it was our favorite of the trip. The views from the top are incredible and the hike up wasn't as bad as we were expecting. We got a little lost while wandering around the top but was able to use my phone to get back on the trail. Highly recommend it!

A fantastic, relatively quick hike. The work is well rewarded when you get to the top! The view will take your breath away.

This is a short, but fairly steep hike. It has absolutely wonderful views when you get to the top of this mesa-like mountain. While hiking up the views are great as well, and the trail itself snakes up so that you get a variety of views. One important thing - it is hard to find the trail back down -... More

This hike was recommended by our hotel and it lived up to all expectations. The hike would be considered moderate, but the view was worth any exertion. I would do it again in a flash.

The trail to the top is best done in the morning when the switchbacks are in shade. Rated moderately strenous, there are a few exciting areas easily accomplished when dry. The views from the top are sublime.

This hike is worth the views. We hiked up an hour before sunset. We should have hiked up sooner. It seems like the best time for taking photos is an hour before sunsets as the sun shines full on the walls. We didn't leave ourselves enough time to fully experience all the views as we were eagerly taking photos all... More

This was a lovely hike, just enough elevation to be challenging but not scary. The views are spectacular! Walk all on the top and the perimeter once you're up there, so lovely, and the cliffs-wow wee!
