While this church may not have the priceless art of a European church, it does have one of the most spectacular settings around. The nave itself with its view over the Sedona Red Rocks makes one check their other religions at the door and become a honorary Catholic for a day.

This church is built to show off the natural beauty of the area. There is a free parking area below the chapel where you can get beautiful photos of the outside. Continue driving up the incline to find free parking all the way up to the chapel it’s self. Handicapped parking is located at top but there are only two or three spaces. Golf carts are moving up and down hill to give you rides should you need them. There is a long ramp up to the chapel but the views from this ramp are amazing. This chapel sits on one of the vortex energy area and should you touch the walls of the chapel you might feel it. The most amazing feature is the crucifix which has Jesus hanging from the tree of life. You may light candles at the alters for a donation. It really is a must see if in the area. There is a gift shop down 2 flights of stairs so it is not handicapped accessible but everything else is. There is a porta-John located in the lower parking area as there are no restrooms in the chapel that are open to public. …
