On Rt. 89A between Sedona and Flagstaff, Arizona is the Oak Creek Overlook. You will wind your way along Oak Creek from Sedona through a wonderful forested area of hardwood and conifer trees, and start winding your way up the side of a mountain. At the top of the mountain is the Oak Creek Overlook that gives you the opportunity... More

This overlook has an apparently permanent Native American arts and craft show set up near the parking lot. Great vistas including the broke back snake of a road coming out of the canyon. Some trails into the woods.

This overlook is located North of Sedona on 89A heading toward Flagstaff. The road is very winding, but while driving, take your time to take in the views. There are turnouts at various viewpoints. The turnoff for the overlook is marked and to the right as you are going north. Parking is ample and the concrete walkways lead you to... More

this is a very beautiful place from which to view the oak creek canyon. it is peaceful and worth every bit of your time. it is easily accessed by wheel chair, walker, etc. there are Native American kiosks set up from which you may purchase souvenirs but it does not interfere with the peace and beauty of the adventure.

A must stop on state route 89A between Sedona and Flagstaff. Great views of the canyon and surrounding area. Nice opportunity to purchase Navajo jewelry and crafts, supporting that community. Plenty of parking.

This little pull out has a high elevation and good view of the canyon below, but if you are looking for views of red rocks, you won't find them here. One feature of this stop is the American Indians selling jewelry and pottery for what looked to be some good prices. There is also a very small gift shop and... More
