This trail is easy, medium & hard depending on which way you take. Several choices! The cement ramp takes you to a bench where you have majestic views. We go here when there is a full moon!

Easy access to the lookout with incredible views. On the recommendation of other visitors I did the Slim Shady Trail; easy and more rewarding views. Highly recommend for inexperienced “hikers”.

My husband and I hiked this trail twice in one week in Sedona because once you've seen it, it's hard not to come back. It's short, well-marked, and easy. It connects with a few longer trails as well, but by itself it's an awesome spot to take in 360 degree views if you are short on time or energy on a busy day. I'm not sure how much longer this could be categorized as a hidden gem, but we went out on a Friday evening in May to see sunset and we only saw a few other people using the trail, and had a great look-out point to ourselves. There's a convenient sign by the parking area that lists the names of prominent rock formations so that you can quickly identify iconic features like Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte, the Rabbit Ears, and so on.…
