We hiked for a few hours here, was very beautiful. The creek crossings were challenging due to the ice. We saw many getting wet feet, so be prepared.

Took time to see Oak Creek Canyon in the winter . . . This was the fourth trip through the Canyon. Words cannot describe the beauty and grandeur and the differing affect the seasons have on how it is perceived. This time we had to...More

We enjoyed the early morning and late afternoon drive through this area as the scenery and sunlight changed over 10 hours time. We were there in late October so trees were showing some colors and the air was crisp making for an enjoyable experience. It...More

Can't miss when in Sedona. Winding drive up Rt 89A with literally 100s of spectacular views. Many places to pull over and view. Make sure to switch drivers so everyone gets the benefits.

Another Arizona finest. Always love the drive there and back. The Native Americans who set up are so helpful in explaining designs, etc.

This drive is absolutely beautiful! The road is a little dangerous so the driver really can't take in all the views, but there are plenty of places to pull over and pause to take it all in. The overlook at the end is a must...More

Riparian oasis in the high desert, would be more attractive in the summer, esp. at location where you could swim.

Family of 5 with 3 teens took this scenic drive. Awesome views. Recommend taking in the natural beauty, stopping at the vista and shopping the local merchants at the vista. We also stopped and hiked at west fork on our way back to Sedona. Beautiful...More

The road was like a snake with sharp turns but was very beautiful with some areas that you could pull over for photographs. It was almost a small Grand Canyon butte. Very pretty rocks we drove slow as turns were like riding the rapid on...More

This would be a lovely drive, but few places would be wheelchair accessible. I would recommend stopping at the Junipine Lodge for lunch. The food is wonderful and I think I recall that they have a wheelchair ramp.

Unless they are having flooding, the rain shouldn't hurt the drive.
