Breathtaking in its red rock beauty, the Canyon is a spectacular 16-mile gorge with streams and waterfalls between sheer rock walls.

My wife, daughter, and I took a drive through Oak Creek Canyon. It was advertised as an alternative to the Grand Canyon. We were not impressed. Due to the snow that came earlier in the week, a lot of the places to stop were closed...More

Great view but a challenging ride with locals tailgating you through the switchbacks. Would not drive through at night for your first time.

Lovely drive with great scenery from Sedona to Flagstaff. Stopped off at the Indian Gardens restaurant for a delicious casual lunch

We traveled from Sedona to Oak Creek Canyon and traveled to the viewing area at the top of the mountain. What a marvelous view! And on top of that 10 - 15 Indian vendors were selling their wares!

a beautiful but winding drive between Sedona and Flagstaff - amazing views along the canyon and a native American sales site near the top on the East

This is a beautiful drive - we were there in late Fall and though there was less foliage it did not detract from the lovely scenery

I knew from my research that Oak Creek Canyon would be one of my favorite hikes while in the Sedona area, so decided to save it for one of the last days there. I was not disappointed. I did the West Creek Trail. The weather...More

This is a beautiful drive through the canyon with hairpin turns leading up to Flagstaff. There are a number of trails, a state park and services available. It is a relatively short drive and try to return the opposite direction for full effect.

This would be a lovely drive, but few places would be wheelchair accessible. I would recommend stopping at the Junipine Lodge for lunch. The food is wonderful and I think I recall that they have a wheelchair ramp.

Unless they are having flooding, the rain shouldn't hurt the drive.
