Parking at the park can be tricky. Best to arrive early and plan to spend the day. Short hike down to the water and it is an excellent picnic spot. Don't forget sunscreen.

we are so excited to visit slide rock state park next week but there is an excessive heat warning on the day that we planned to go. I've read about the comments that it will take 10mins walking, would it be safe? because our 4 yo is coming with us.

Doable, but figure it's a hike and take all of your precautions: water, etc. Also, you may be "trapped" in your car forever, so be prepared there as well with plenty of fuel, snacks, etc. I saw lines that were several hours... More

Yes we going to be on the south rim at the Grand Canyon camping, and we want to visit Slide Rock we have a 37-foot motorhome that we need somewhere to park it for the day can you help me with that
