We needed something to do on a cold and rainy day so swung in here for $20. Kept us entertained for a bit walking along the River - super pretty and a mini adventure

This place is really crowded in warmer weather, but was not too bad when we were there. You can hike, enjoy the water, or both. Be sure to pack a picnic. There are lots of places to take awesome photos. Be aware of local weather...More

Be careful this place is usually filled with tourists but if you can catch it on the right day this is nature at its finest who doesn’t want to slide on a rock built for sliding

I love this place it’s so beautiful and well maintained considering all the visitors they have during the year. We had fun taking pictures and hiking around the river.

No entrance fee but very well maintained, nice vista w/ gorgeous colors of orange and gold rock formations and backdrop of the mountains. We went in February but there were kids swimming and sliding into a running creek via a natural rock slide, cant describe...More

Recommended by a friend, this was a very fun stop. Be warned, the water is absolutely freezing (this was the first week of August right at opening time), though if you just jump in, you'll quickly adjust (go numb?). There are some sudden deep spots...More

The park was closing in 5 minutes. I just wanted to come in to take a quick photo. It was winter and very cold so I wouldn't be swimming or using the park especially since they were closing in five minutes. The ranger there wouldn't...More

We went on a winter day when our Grand Canyon tour got cancelled. This former orchard homestead along a running creek was just breathtaking and totally manageable. Apparently the locals call it slime rock. In the summer I get it but in the winter it...More

June 2018: I’ll make it short and sweet. It was beautiful. Water was great, albeit just a tad too damn cold 🥶 almost freezing actually lol. Only reason I’m taking one star off. It took quite a long time for any of us to fully...More

We drove by Slide Rock and decided to visit while staying in Sedona - and glad that we did. Fortunately it was a weekday and not overrun by the locals and folks coming down from Flagstaff. Avoid it on the congested weekends, if possible. Nice...More

Sorry I have no idea, but I’d guess very cold as the water in that location gets a lot of shade from the rock cliffs until around noon.

Probably mild enough to visit but likely too cold for swimming. I was there in late November and it snowed just north in flagstaff and we had coats and scarfs in Sedona.
