This was our second trip to Arizona and our second time visiting Slide Rock State Park and it was still just as beautiful and fabulous as it was 10 years ago. There was a trail that led to creek and you could hike along the creek. People were swimming in it even though the water was about 30 degrees. Eeek! This is a beautiful little park nestled in between Sedona and Flagstaff. It’s worth a stop if you are traveling through the area.

We stopped here after some other hiking trails were full. Immediately we were glad we stopped. The rock formations were beautiful and the water running through was crystal clear. I could imagine it gets really busy in the summer with people swimming but it was perfect in November. Would recommend it to everyone.
