It's a nice executive course .Weird thing about it it used to be part of the Marriott resort where we stayed 30 years ago when on conference with Pitney Bowes . We almost got rained out but squeaked through. We saw some beautiful green and blue parrots on the course.

One of the nicest places to stay in the Palm Springs/Palm desert area with excellent accomodations and a really excellent golf course. Golf is pricey but if you go on line there are some services that offer deep discounts. Only real downside is that the restaurant is pretty marginal, but not a problem since there are many many great restaurants... More

Having never played an Executive course before, we were unsure whether or not we would like it - we loved it!, so much so we went back 3 days later.... It is so much more than an easy par 3 - located with Camelback as it's backdrop, it has so much to offer, challenging golf on a well kept course... More

It is more than just a simple par 3 course with a couple of par 4's thrown in for good measure. It is narrow and quite challenging. Each hole is unique and the view of Camelback Mountain is spectacular.

As an executive golf course, I would rate Montain Shadows as one lf the finest I've ever played. Beginning with an excllent pro shop and through 18 beautiful holes, Moungain Shadows rewards the player with an excellent golfing experience. To me, MS is playing in a beautiful garden set against a majestic mountain background. The course is well maintained, cart... More

I'm a little hesitant to write a review for fear that it will become the go-to place for golf, but here I go. To be brief, this is my #1 favorite course to play in Phoenix. The price is super affordable, the staff is enjoyable and I've never had to wait to tee off. Now, this is an EXECUTIVE course,... More

We had planned to play three days of golf and found this place to start off our round on Thursday. What a great hidden gem, this place was so much fun and very changeling. The entire staff made us feel welcomed, stop by the snack bar for a Hot Dog and was really a great value for both golf and... More

My wife and I played at Mountain Shadows twice the week of March 11, 2014. I cannot say enough nice things about this course. It is an executive course with 2 par 4's and the rest par 3's, but it is still challenging. I would highly recommend this for a 3 hour round. My wife has only been playing for... More

Nestled to the north of Camelback Mountain, do not be deceived by the closed resort and the fencing surrounding it. This executive course has undergone some issues in the past, however, this fall, a whole new staff and freshened club house are very inviting. The course is in good shape. The kitchen is a bit slow for lunchers and there... More
