Went on a morning hike and found the trail and views to be great! Loved stopping to read and learn about the plants we were encountering. Breathtaking views!

A "must do"? I don't know but a lot of people really needed to make the trek when we did. The volunteers put a lot of effort into maintains the grounds

It's a two hour round trip hike. Fantastic views all around. You top off at about 3,000'. It's a little work but well worth it.

Easy parking - well marked trails - several lookout stops offer places to get rest. Initial trek up is the steepest by far - then gets easier with rolling trails and commanding views across valley.

It's a fairly easy walk and the views are very scenic. Also not hard to get too; so if you are a nature lover, you won't be disappointed.

The Pinnacle Peak Park trail is well maintained. You'll get some exercise climbing to the peak, but it isn't a killer. In the spring, you'll see a nice variety of wild flowers along the trail and the park has identified them for you. The trail might be a bit much for very young children, but would be okay for school... More

This location was easy to get to and offered a nice trail to hike. Not as popular as Camelback Mountain but less of a commitment time-wise and energy wise. Difficulty level was Ok for non-hikers to enjoy and have access to the views and photo opps. Safe trail, not too strenuous. Make sure you go during morning hours when it... More

Free parking and easy drive north of Scottsdale. Hike was moderate and offered great views. Switchback trails were not difficult for us 50+ guys. Bring water and layer your clothing as you'll want to shed some layers along the way. It's a one-way hike about 2.75 miles, not a loop hike. There are several rest areas on the way to... More
