Worth it
Sep. 2021 • Friends
Wasn’t sure what to expect when we arrived. We read online that they suggested to arrive up to an hour early, for my husband and I it wasn’t necessary. If you want to get a few drinks, take pictures and shop the gift store (somewhat small) then it would be worth it. We got a drink each and had a bunch of extra time.

The show itself was awesome. The horses, falcon and riders were incredible. The falcon was something we weren’t expecting and was SO cool. The training and athleticism of the horses were fantastic to watch. The theatrics of the show are entertaining and keep you interested, but they are obviously planned out but as adults we could still appreciate it. Kids would probably buy into it for sure!

Both my husband and I have dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy) and they were easily able to accommodate it. There is also a super handy chart we found on their website. The costs were actually reasonable priced. Glad we went!

Good Show, good food, good times
I was torn b/w paying extra for VIP or just doing general seating. I decided to just pay for general seating for our family of 5, and honestly it was just fine. I really don’t think there is a bad seat in the place. We were red section and in the ‘nosebleeds’. But it worked out, red was at the entrance of all the actors and horses, where the queen sits and where the Emcee guy stands. Plus when the room would get dark, our littles would get scared and we just told to them look behind them and the lighted walkway calmed them down. I gave 4 stars because it is noisy, with the servers and food. But not horrible. The food was good and plentiful. Our chicken was not dry, and the tomato bisque was not bland as others say in reviews. We did splurge on collectible cups and souviners so it did get pricey on top of the general tickets. The story line was easy to follow, even our 5 y/o understood what was going on. We would definitely do this again.

Better than Vegas Show
Jul. 2021
I have seen the Las Vegas show and the one in Scottsdale is so much better. The banter between all the characters was great and very entertaining. It was also pretty easy to be seated . There was plenty of space for social distancing. I would recommend it!

Enjoyed by everyone, all ages

We were pleasantly surprised that we enjoyed so much. The show, the horses the knights all made the show special. Prior to going into the arena there are shops and the Queen and her knights for pictures. We didn't expect the food to be terrific but we were wrong, the chicken was amazing and everything was tasty. We purchased the general admission and were not disappointed in where we sat, as there is not a bad seat in the whole arena. I highly recommend, and will do again. Very talented knights and the horses unbelievable. It was worth every penny.

Great show and dinner
Jun. 2021 • Couples
This is the second Medieval Times Castle we’ve been to. The show was great and so was the food! The trained horses were cool to watch! So was the falcon the flies over the audience! The grand finale of the show is the battles between the 6 knights! During the show a half chicken dinner is served along with corn, bread, soup, potato and dessert!

Surprisingly Well Done!
Apr. 2021
This is not my usual idea of fun, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Acting and stunts by the cast were professional and exciting. Training of the horses was excellent. Food was also good and too much quantity for one... I did not realize take-home boxes would be available & I had to let my belt out 2 notches! Only negative were the abundant opportunities to spend more money: the show/meal alone, albeit pricey, is worth it.

Step back in time

This event was good. It was a little hard to hear the Queen when she spoke. I love watching all of the knights and the falcon. I was really impressed with the horse show part. My friends really enjoyed themselves

Good show, expensive add ons
May 2021
Took the kids here for a night of fun and expected to drop some money for the privilege, but the pricing was higher than expected. This place is certainly in on the art of the upsell. We paid just under $200 for a family of 5 for general admission. You get a roast chicken dinner with potatoes and corn along with a bowl of tomato soup (with a handle for drinking) so that you can eat everything with your hands and just get into being greasy and having fun. There are plenty of wet napkins too. We were well spaced for COVID precautions. We sat in the green section and could smell the horses from our seats, which can be a bit much for people with sensitive noses. Show was good with the kids enjoying the way they were able to make the swords spark when they hit. Servers were on top of things and friendly. We skipped the add ons at the gate to get priority seating, lanyards, etc., but my oldest daughter got reeled in and bought a giant foam mace and the other two bought light up axes and wands. Cocktail was not good at all (Royal Knight I believe) and very expensive as I ended up getting the drinking horn souvenir cup. As others have said, this is pretty much a one time show to entertain the kids and all the seats are pretty good without the add ons.

Excellent meal. Entertainment is Medieval Knights jousting, sword fighting, knightly sporting events. Tremendous horsemenship, and falconry. Great entertainment. Well worth it. Great place for families.

Nice Medieval Times location
Mar. 2021
We have been to several different Medieval Times (most frequently Chicago/Schaumburg) and we came to this one specifically because it is the newest one (also, Schaumburg still closed due to pandemic). The show was good, all of the actors and animals were great. Our server was really good, even remembering to bring us extra napkins as requested. We really liked that part of the horse pens are outside the "castle" and you can see them out there. Things were obviously a bit different in this pandemic era, but overall still a great experience. Also, props to the announcer; he totally called out the idiots not following directions (wait at the table until called to get up and leave) when they decided they were more important than the rest of us and tried sneaking out first.
