Expected Matt Dillon and Miss Kitty show up

This is a terrific old saloon on Whiskey Row. The atmosphere and decor are authentic, the food is good and the service was great. A fine place to just have some fun.

Had a party of four for drinks and dinner at the Palace. I needed a lighter dinner so I ordered soup and salad. The other three ordered full meals with multiple drinks. I asked the waitress for a dinner roll and she said that would be an extra fifty cents. I could not believe it. I was dropping 80 to... More

Go for a drink but do not go for food. The food was just plain bad. And the service just worse. Third time asking for a glass of water we had some results, ketchup arrived when we were done with the meal.. and it was all because "people are giving me a hard time" according to the waiter. So avoid... More

Given the history of the place, I would say the Palace is still in its prime. The saloon dates back to the late 1800's, which is incredible. The place was packed with people seeking a burger (mine was a bison burger, yum) and a look back at Arizona's colorful past. There is lots of memorabilia around, including film posters. The... More

The Palace is the oldest bar in the state of Arizona and the back bar is beautiful. My wife and I stopped here each of the two nights we spent in Prescott and had a great time. The staff is very friendly and super efficient. The Palace offers some terrific happy hour food specials that are good and the price... More

The history behind this place is amazing! We only went for a drink (a bit pricey) but got to sit at the original bar that was saved from a fire. They dress in old west attire and are great about sharing knowledge about the history of The Palace. The collection of pictures displayed of by-gone days is fantastic. Be sure... More

Went for lunch with friends, was a late lunch. About 2:30 and service was very slow and they mixed up orders. Wasn't busy so no excuses. Just go for a beverage and check out the photos of the movies shot there.

We decided to go to Prescott and see some more of the town. We had such a nice experience at the Palace that I wanted to go back. The experience, from the service, to the food, to the servers in period dresses was just excellent. We got hamburgers, but there is a variety for pretty much anyone there. There was... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by one of the locals. The atmosphere was that of an old western saloon. We were there for lunch. The food was very good and not too expensive. Would highly recommend it if you go to Prescott.
