YeeeeHaw! Definitely showcases cowboy history

Because it is the oldest Rodeo including parade it shows the west and cowpoke off "real well". This was always one of the funnest things we attended each year as kids.

A large parade showcasing the culture and people of the Prescott area. After the parade are events and music that last into the night suited for couples or families

The best and I mean the best RODEO I've seen and I've seen several in many places. The John Payne one armed cowboy was the best (seriously we couldn't believe it, I cannot even tell you what it was you wouldn't believe it), we also enjoyed the barrel racing, bronco buck riding, bull riding and the wagon pulled by the... While eating breakfast the next morning I overheard 2 couples talking about the rodeo we had all attended the night before. One couple was lamenting how it used to be a place where friends and neighbors gathered for a visit and some good, clean fun. "Now it's overrun with tourists!", she said. Well, I'm not exactly a tourist since I... More

We are always searching for great places to spend the 4th of July. We chose Prescott this year and it was a great decision! The parade around the town square was more than 2 hours long and filled with incredible variety and patriotism. The whole square was filled with booths featuring art, crafts and specialty food items. I've never attended... More

We moved from Chicago to Phoenix in 2006 and my wife had never been to more than a county fair rodeo. We attended our first in 2006 and really had a good time and have attended most years since. We enjoy the clowns, bulls, announcer and all the people. We found this year to be a little tiring. The same... More

Saturday Evening I experienced my very first rodeo. I must say that I enjoyed every minute of it. When I made the reservations online (just a couple of days ago) there were only like 6 seats available. The two I chose were perfect and cost $20 per ticket. Parking was $5.00. Our seats were right where the action was. All... More

Love rodeo and this one is good. However paid extra for arena level seating only to have photographers and fans standing in front of me blocking view of chutes. A real frustration for me and the 9 guests I brought. Portable restrooms Had not been emptied in I don't know when. Won't go into anymore discusting detail. Real third world.... More

Went to the Rodeo last night and they put on a very fast paced active show! Lots of food, clothing & souvenir vendors. Drink prices reasonable and they will allow sealed water bottles but nothing else.
