Visited the Ranch in October, but it was closed due to weather. In my initial review I gave the Ranch a poor rating because the gate was closed, but the Ranch should have been opened. The weather at the time was beautiful. I received a nice reply from the owner who indicated he had closed the Ranch because of forecasted... More

If you have kids, definitely stop here. I went with my sister, we're 29 and 31 years old, and feeding the lorikeets was pretty much as exciting as the grand canyon was. You start by feeding donkeys, goats, and baby deer, then move on to ducks, and, finally, the lorikeets, which are colorful birds that will perch on you while... More

What a fun family destination. If you love animals you will love this place. First take the monster truck ride through the desert, learn about the ostriches and cacti while enjoying some off roading. Then feed the donkeys, deer, goats, bunnies, parakeets, geese. I loved it, kid loved it, wide loved it!

This is a wonderful place to get outside and feed the animals. You get a large cup of feed for the animals, a stick with bird seed on it for the smaller birds, corn for the ducks, and a small cup of nectar for the lorikeets. There are plenty of donkeys, deer, goats and ostrich to feed. They all eat... More

We had SO much fun at Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch! We had spent the weekend at Tombstone which was nice, but visiting the ranch ended our weekend with a bang! I'm already making plans to return with my family. We really had a great time with the animals and the staff was fantastic! This is a "must do"!

I've been here twice. The family that runs it couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. The monster truck ride is fun for all ages, including my elderly father who needed wheelchair access. The farm is more than just ostriches. It's filed with other great animals just sing to be fed. And the lorakeet cage, with colorful birds that feed out... More

Had a great time two weeks ago. It was pretty hot so might be a better visit in the color months. Variety of animals to feed and not in the regular petting zoo way. Goats in the wall and the goat pent house are fun. The donkies are adorable. Be careful with the aviary those birds are a bit aggressive

Unfortunately I went here all by myself, couldn't convince anyone to come with me. I had a great time! The staff was friendly and informative and gave me all kinds of tips on how to enjoy my visit. People may come for the ostriches (they are truly UGLY), but to me the stars of the visit were the Lorikeets. These... More

After passing by this place many times we finally decided to visit. It was great fun even for us seniors and I'm sure the kids and grand kids would really enjoy it.

On a recent road trip we made a stop to visit the ranch. It's very different that how I remembered. Now they have a lot of animals, you can start feeding donkeys, then go to the deer, then goats with some very unique and fun feeding systems (they have some in a "penthouse" and others in holes on the wall...
