The Gammage Auditorium in Phoenix is a historic Frank Lloyd Wright venue to see musicals and other shows in Phoenix.

Gammage is a wonderful venue for live shows. We have seen several shows here and enjoy it each time. Arrive early for the best parking options. They serve cocktails to enjoy before the show and some show souvenirs are also available for purchase.

The theater is a little quirky, it is a Frank Lloyd Wright building. The quality of plays is wonderful. Always a fun night when you go to the Gammage.

We saw a show in gammage last night and although the bathrooms are definitely an issue they are raising money to remedy the problem, a project that will be started this summer. We were in the mezzanine level and we were able to hear fine, although we did miss a few words in the songs. There is an electric scrolling... More

When you shell out over $175 for an 11th row ticket to a musical that has been so highly rated (Book of Mormon) one would expect to be able to understand the dialogue. Not so at Grady Gammage. It is sad, as, when that venue opened years ago, it was touted as state of the art. I really think Broadway... More

We love seeing Broadway plays and this is our only alternative. We have been attending plays here for over 20 years and it never gets better. Everyone who lives in Phoenix knows the acoustics are terrible - always has been and always will. We question our hearing until we check with much younger folks and they did not understand the... There are some wonderful shows at Gammage and the seats are situated so that you see the stage from all over. The building was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, so it's a treat even before the show starts.

Man....the more I go here, the more I hate this venue. The shows and performers are OUTSTANDING, but it is a true shame that this is the best venue that AZ has to showcase them in. Phoenix is the 5th largest city in the US, and this is the best that they can do? Embarrassing... Aside from the pukey colored... More

This auditorium does not do justice to the concerts and the Broadway Musical it presents to the Valley of Sun audiences. There is not a good seat in the house that provides a pleasant acoustical sound. Some improvements have been made to this auditorium; but it is still a 'Big Barn' with poor acoustics, inadequate parking, and ugly décor. The... More
