While looking for some hard to find books, I visited this library. This has some old charm, is in a neat neighborhood and LOTS of selection. Many of the hardest to find books can be found here.

My boys love to go there. They have many activities for kids for free. And I really like the culture pass option!

The main branch library shows what can be accomplished in Phoenix. Superb architecture, accomplished staff and an extensive collection. We use it at least once a month for everything from videos, to esoteric magazines to graduate research. Lots of computers and tech assistance.
